After three people were found dead inside of their 21-room mansion, questions were raised about the legitimacy of an insurance policy, only to find out that there was a dark secret looming in the family.

When Rakesh Kamal, 57, his wife, Teena, 54, and their 18-year-old daughter, Arianna was found dead from gun shot wounds, it was a shock for everyone.

The uber rich family had been living in their Dover mansion and not even their family knew that the family had been facing problems.

However, a sudden change to the life insurance policy on Teena just four days before lead to the discovery of what led to their deaths.

Authorities confirmed that it was a result of a murder-suicide, with Rakesh taking the lives of his wife and daughter.

But the reason? Massive debt.

It was just days before their deaths that a fax signed by Teena was sent to the life insurance company Genworth, which requested a change to her $1.25 million life insurance policy, according to the Boston Globe.

The document changed to make Teena’s husband and daughter the primary benefactors and adding Rakesh’s brother, Manoj Kamal, as the contingent beneficiary in case either Rakesh or Arianna died.

The original policy held Rakesh as the primary benefactor, while Arianna was filed as the contingent.

A few weeks later, Manoj filed to collect the life insurance payout but was quickly stopped when Teena’s brother, Sandeep Bedi, contacted the life-insurance company to let them know how his sister and niece had died just days after the change of policy.

Now, the two brothers are locked in a lengthy battle – which opened up the awful debts Rakesh had accumulated.

When the company heard of the conflicting accounts, they decided to ask a federal court in Boston in April to decide who would be the person to receive the money.

Now, Manoj and Bedi have until August 2 to respond to the filing and battle it out.

Their choices are to settle or to drag it out.

It all began when the father racked up a debt on the $3.8 million mortgage he took out on their $4 million property and a six-figure loan from a family member, as well as numerous failed business deals.

He had loaned $500,000 from Bedi and ‘a substantial sum of money’ from his brother Manoj, two separate affidavits claim, which were viewed by the Boston Globe claim.

Not only were the family in massive debt, but also filing for bankruptcy in September 2022, which filed using Teena’s name.

Boston 25 News reported that it listed liabilities between $1 million and $10 million but the case was dismissed weeks later because the forms weren’t filed in time.

In December of that same year, the family were ordered to leave their mansion and were handed eviction papers in May 2023.

Having owed $760,000 to nTech Connect, after it loaned $550,000 to a company Rakesh operated, in 2022, the family man was getting in way over his head.

Even though he claimed that he would wire the money over, it never happened, and he instead used his widowed mother’s home in Woburn as collateral to the loan.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office released a Press Release detailing the details of the crime: “Preliminary results provided to investigators confirms that Teena Kamal, 54, and her daughter Arianna Kamal, 18, were victims of homicide by gunshot.

“Rakesh Kamal, 57, their husband and father respectively, died by gunshot wound consistent with being self-inflicted. The final autopsy report is likely to be completed in the coming weeks.

“While full forensic and ballistics testing of the gun have not been finalized, the firearm found with Mr. Kamal is consistent with a .40 caliber Glock 22.

“The firearm was not registered to Mr. Kamal and he was not licensed to possess it. Massachusetts State Police have contacted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives for assistance in determining the origin of the firearm. The incident remains under investigation by Dover and Massachusetts State Police.”

Mötley Crüe and Vince Neil have offered their ‘thoughts and prayers’ after a private jet registered to the frontman crashed and killed a pilot.

Yesterday afternoon (February 10), a private plane owned by Neil crashed into another plane at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona as it was arriving from Austin, Texas.

Neil was not on board, however, his girlfriend, Rain Andreani and her friend are reported as having been involved in the collision, alongside a co-pilot and pilot – with the pilot reported as having passed away.

Mötley Crüe took to social media to release a statement on the incident, as per FOX 10 Phoenix.

In a since-deleted post, the group confirmed ‘a private plane owned by Vince Neil was involved in a crash near Scottsdale, AZ’ and ‘the pilot was tragically killed’ with ‘the co-pilot and other passengers were taken to local hospitals’.

“Vince was not on the plane. Vince‘s girlfriend and her friend suffered injuries, albeit not life-threatening,” the statement continued. “While details are still emerging, our hearts go out to the families about the pilot who lost his life in the passengers who suffered injuries.”

It resolved: “Mötley Crüe will announce a way to help support the family of the deceased pilot -stand by for an announcement very soon.”

And the group has since shared a statement from Neil’s representative too.

The statement reads: “At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at the Scottsdale Airport. For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway causing it to collide with another parked plane.

“On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane. More specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation.

“Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”

The incident remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which stated ‘a Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona’ and noted it was ‘temporarily pausing flights into the airport’ as a result.

The Scottsdale airport confirmed at the time an ‘accident’ had occurred ‘upon arrival to runway 21’.

“Fire Department is on scene assessing the situation. Scottsdale Airports runway is currently closed,” it said.

Airport public information office Kelli Kuester added: “A Learjet aircraft on its arrival from Austin veered off the runway and collided with another jet, a Gulfstream 200 aircraft, that was parked. It appears that the left main gear failed upon landing, resulting in the accident.”

Scottsdale Fire Department Captain Dave Folio said: “We had five patients we treated. One was a fatality, we had two immediate that were transported to local trauma centers, we had one delayed patient and one patient that refused treatment.”

The husband of a woman who killed their three children has shared the horrific decision he had to make after finding them.

Back on January 24, 2023, Patrick Clancy was out of his family home for less than an hour before returning to find his wife, Lindsay, lying in their backyard.

It was shortly discovered the mom had jumped out of the window of her Duxbury, Massachusetts, home after strangling their three children.

Cora, five, Dawson, three, and Callan, who was eight months old, all lost their lives.

Cora and Dawson were pronounced dead the same day, and Callan died a few days later in hospital.

Lindsay attempted to take her own life following the horrific incident, though she did survive it.

She was left paralyzed from the waist down, and has since been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation, and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

It was Patrick who tragically found his three children deceased, and he has shared in a recent interview the horrific decision he had to make after finding them.

The New Yorker reports the dad ‘removed the bands and begged each child to breathe’.

He ultimately attempted to resuscitate Cora, who was said to be lying by her side.

“What do you do when you have three kids like that?” Patrick told the outlet. “How do you pick?”

Officials learnt Lindsay had been suffering with mental health problems prior to the incident.

When pregnant with Callan, Lindsay saw huge spikes in anxiety and insomnia symptoms, and was later seen by postpartum specialists.

However, she never received a severe diagnosis of generalised anxiety disorder.

After Lindsay had been taken into custody, her husband quizzed her over the incident.

The dad recalled: “I think one of the first things I asked was, ‘Did you plan this? Is that why you sent me out?’”

Lindsay claimed in her response the deaths of her children were not planned.

“She said, ‘No, it just was, like, a snap of the fingers’,” Patrick revealed.

The case surrounding Lindsay remains ongoing, but Patrick has reiterated ‘it wasn’t her making those decisions’, adding that he ‘wasn’t married to a monster’.

Johnny Gaureau’s widow has broken her silence following the NHL star’s tragic death.

The 31-year-old and his brother Matthew Gaudreau were knocked down by Sean M. Higgins, while the pair were out cycling on a New Jersey highway, at around 8pm on Thursday.

The brothers were cycling north on County Road 551, in Salem County, when they were struck by the alleged drunk driver in his Jeep, while attempting to overtake two cars – the second being an SUV.

While passing the cyclists, the SUV moved over to allow plenty of space to pass – at the exact point the 43-year-old, who police documents state told an officer that he had ‘five to six’ beers, attempted to pass.

In what seems like a fit of rage Higgins then drove up the inside not knowing 29-year-old father-to-be Matthew, and dad-of-two Johnny, were cycling along the side of the road – crashing into them both.

Johnny and Matthew were due to be groomsmen at their sister’s wedding the morning after their deaths.

Higgins, who has been arrested and charged with two counts of death by auto, attended Salem County Court via a video link on Friday.

Judge Michael J. Silvanio informed him that Higgins will be remaining in custody for six more days, to which the Daily Mail reported that he responded in disbelief: “So… I’m here until Thursday.”

The holding period of three days has been extended due to the holiday weekend the judge explained, leading to Higgins leaning back in his chair and letting out a heavy sigh, according to the publication.
