Stefani kept her accessories minimal but stylish with gold bracelets, and her makeup had a soft glow, featuring peachy lipstick and cool-toned eyeshadow that highlighted her eyes. Yet, it wasn’t her outfit or makeup that took center stage – it was her brand-new hairstyle.
The singer had long blonde locks with full bangs that left tongues wagging. While some praised her fashion-forward dress, others were less kind about the singer’s overall look. “Dress is amazing, hair looks horrible,” one commenter bluntly put.

Another shared, “Cute dress, but for a much younger person.” Someone else critiqued her evolving style saying, “You’re beautiful, but your over-the-top outfits are ridiculous. Keep it simple, no need to be an exclamation point!”

Stefani’s bangs became the center of attention with some viewers even mistaking them for a wig. One person quipped, “What is that clown wig Gwen is wearing? Time to grow up,” while another pleaded, “Please, Gwen, the blonde wig (mop) looks AWFUL.”

Yet amidst the critiques, some fans offered their own advice to the music icon, “Please don’t wear wigs anymore. They make you look older and drawn out. You’re so pretty, just be natural and yourself.” Some viewers barely recognized the singer, with one commenting, “You don’t even look like Gwen Stefani.”
While many focused on her latest transformation, others speculated about her intentions. Some claimed Stefani was attempting to mimic her husband Blake Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.

“She’s trying to look like Miranda,” one user wrote. However, another fired back, saying, “No way. She’s a lot better than Miranda. She could never carry off this outfit.”
Shelton was previously married to country star Lambert for a short while. The two tied the knot in 2011 but finalized their divorce in 2015. Shelton eventually found love with Gwen Stefani, and the couple married on July 3, 2021.
Despite the criticism, Stefani’s loyal fans rallied to her defense. “I love the new look! Bangs are so becoming and beautiful on you,” one fan praised. Another echoed this sentiment, adding, “Gwen, I love your look—it’s awesome on you.”
Season 26 of “The Voice” kicked off its Battles with plenty of excitement. Team Snoop saw Christina Eagle deliver a standout performance, defeating Gail Bliss with a spirited cover of “Redneck Woman.”
Meanwhile, Team Stefani had Sydney Sterlace narrowly beat Sloane Simon on “Birds of a Feather,” with Simon being saved by a Steal from Michael Bublé.
On Team Reba McEntire, Kendall Eugene faced Alison Elena in a duet of “Bring On the Rain.” While it was a lovely performance, neither truly wowed, and Eugene edged out Elena. In another battle, Mikaela Ayira showcased her talent, defeating Eliza Pryor with a confident rendition of “A Thousand Miles.”
Jan Dan surprised everyone on Team Stefani with a powerful take on “For Once in My Life,” besting Jaylen Dunham, despite Dunham’s strong stage presence.
On Team Bublé, the battle between Kiara Vega and Mor Ilderton on “Iris” was a clash of styles. Both singers were pushed out of their comfort zones, but Ilderton delivered a powerful and emotional performance that captivated the audience.
Vega, however, struggled with her song choice, fighting to keep up but falling short. Despite her efforts, Ilderton’s heartfelt vocals shone through, impressing both the coaches and viewers alike. After the performance, Stefani recognized Ilderton’s talent and swooped in to steal him, adding a talented artist to her team.
