The husband and one of the daughters of “Nanny 911” alum announced her passing on social media, sharing heartfelt tributes that celebrated her as a loving mother and wife.
TikTok star Deborah Finck died on January 14, 2025, at the age of 57. Her demise comes just a day after she shared an emotional video that resonated with her followers, who sent her lots of love and prayers.

Deborah was diagnosed with stage 3 Leiomyosarcoma, a cancer of the pulmonary artery, five years ago. She candidly documented her health journey on TikTok. Leiomyosarcoma is one of the rarest forms of cancer with less than 300 cases ever worldwide.
When she was diagnosed, Deborah’s cancer manifested on her left pulmonary artery, making her case even rarer since in most cases it forms on the right side. For half a decade, she has battled with cancer and sadly, succumbed to it. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Finck, as well as three sets of twins, Amanda and Alexandra, Stephen and Katerina, and David and Daniel.
A day before she died, the TikToker had posted a video on her TikTok talking about the depressive episodes that come with battling cancer. “I sit here and I think, why me? You know, what have I done in this world to make a difference, and maybe this was my purpose,” she announced.
Deborah, who doesn’t want her journey to end this way, empathized with those who had lost their loved ones and ended up being depressed. She told them that life is worth living, “I don’t want to go anywhere either. I really don’t.”
Deborah’s heartfelt message sparked an outpouring of emotion from her followers, who shared their thoughts in the comment section. One follower expressed their sorrow, “I cry everytime [sic] one of your videos comes up to me. I think you’re a wonderful person.” Another praised her resilience, “Mam, you have touched millions with your grace. We all love you. 🙏🏻♥️.”

One fan’s comment reflected shared grief, “Very touching.. prayers for all🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️.” Someone else couldn’t hold back their emotions, confessing, “I AM CRYING!! 💔 MAY YOU FOREVER BE IN PEACE.” Each message showed the profound impact her words had on her audience.
As Deborah battled cancer, her family, friends, and online users came together to raise funds for her treatment on GoFundMe. They had a goal of raising $60,000, which they surpassed, as at the time of publication, the donated funds were at $120,230. Rosanna Quaranta O’Mallon, the organizer of the fundraiser, thanked everyone who donated, noting that the funds helped alleviate hospital bills.
Some of it will also cover funeral expenses. O’Mallon added, “I cannot thank you enough for the support you’ve shown her and her family during this incredibly challenging time. Deborah was still smiling at the end, so I ask that you honor her memory by finding reasons to smile today.”
Deborah’s husband, Paul, is devasted by her death. He wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post, “Deborah, my love, you were my everything, and losing you is a pain I cannot put into words.” The two appeared together in the ninth episode of season one of “Nanny 911,” titled “The Finck Family.” Paul has shared that his beloved wife died peacefully, surrounded by love.
The couple built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He referred to her as, “my confidant, my rock, the love of my life, and my eternal soul mate.” He also commended her for taking on the role of a mother fully. “One of Deborah’s greatest gifts was her incredible devotion as a mother to our six children,” he divulged.

Deborah cheered on her kids and was a guiding light in their lives. Her impact on their character is immeasurable as she instilled in them values of kindness, integrity, and resilience. Paul and their kids’ lives feel emptier without her but they hold on to the memory of her courage, compassion, warmth, and unconditional love.
The TikTok star touched the lives of many in this world and her legacy of selflessness will live on in their hearts. “She brought light into every room she entered and touched the lives of everyone she met,” said Paul.
Paul has encouraged those who wish to send flowers to honor his wife’s memory to instead donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities, an organization that held great significance to Deborah during her time of need.
He ended his post, penning, “Rest now, my love. Your battle is over, and you are free. Until we meet again, you will always be in my heart. With all my love, Always and Forever, Paul.” Paul also promised to carry his wife in his heart in every step he takes, the decisions he makes, and the moments he lives.
Deborah’s daughter, Katerina has also shared with the world the kind of person and mother she was, “To my mommy, my best friend, my sunshine—thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You were the most beautiful mother and the best mommy anyone could ever ask for.”
Katerina’s mom also showed her the true meaning of unconditional love by always believing in her and being by her side. Her daughter spoke of her strength, courage, and bravery as she battled a rare form of cancer. Deborah was always full of love and never gave up.
Deborah was full of love even when her body was weakened by battling cancer. On Thanksgiving Day in 2024, she gushed about her husband, “He is what I am grateful for in life and he gave me six beautiful kids,” A sick and emotional Deborah also shared a picture they took when she was almost 13 and he was almost 16. “I think he is cute even though he has geeky glasses,” she said.
She also noted that she was having trouble breathing and was going to sleep, having just eaten a delicious lasagna. “I don’t want to go back to the hospital. I really don’t,” she added, sounding exhausted. She wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and urged them to enjoy their families.
Deborah’s online fans will carry forward the strength she embodied and the encouragement she so selflessly offered them. Meanwhile, her family will forever cherish the unconditional love she shared with them, a love that defined her as a devoted mother and wife.
